    For the homebrew channel, X:\apps\nanddumper\boot.elf X:\apps\snes9x\boot.elf Should work. If not... I don't know. The icon should be a png file, by the way. Not a gif. If your homebrew channel cursor has the middle finger up, see this thread.

    You shouldn't have that homebrew folder. Just put the programs in X:\apps\

    Flashed a long time ago, before carts could do it themselves. Remember, flashing does still have its advantages - you'll be able to recover your DS if, for some reason, the firmware is ever damaged.

    EDIT - forget it, didn't read your question properly. I think the bz2 file goes onto the root directory of your SD card in a folder called 'mfe'. So you'd have the boot.elf and the rest of the stuff in SD://apps/mfe/ And the bz2 in SD://mfe/

    Received my replacement discs today - not just a disc, they've sent a whole case, plus manual, etc... (no free faceplate, however). Listed on the disc as RVL-RGHP-EUR-2
