Hardware The SUPER5 OLED screen mod for the Switch Lite uses a 1080p screen and stretches the Switch Lite's 720p signal to fit.

Oh, man.. If there's significant input delay (or even more than the 720P of the Switch Lite), that's going to be pretty damning. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt right now. If I receive my Super OLED5 and it's garbage, I'm not going to be nice about it, publicly. What I find most...

Hardware The SUPER5 OLED screen mod for the Switch Lite uses a 1080p screen and stretches the Switch Lite's 720p signal to fit.

I was very disappointed to read that the Switch Lite replacement screen is not in-fact a 720 panel but is a 1080p unit that is being soft scaled. Had I known this, it would've been a huge deal-breaker for me. After speaking with Taki (if he's even a real person, currently I have my doubts), I...

I just wanted to say that I truly do appreciate this thread. I was an early adopter of the HDMI version of this screen replacement and my experience with TakiUdon_ has been.. horrible.

Wii-U NAND-AID - eMMC Recovery and Replacement Interposer Public Test

I designed these kits. They didn't materialize out of thin-air. These things take both time and money to produce. I've also given it away freely for anyone to use, make and even sell. I don't understand how anyone could say that I'm "ripping" anyone off. I'm sorry I don't sell them for $0.35 a...

Tutorial Internal modchip - SAMD21 (Trinket M0, Gemma M0, ItsyBitsy M0 Express) Guide, Files & Support

Does anyone have any data or a pinout of this chip that's being sold on Aliexpress?

    Picofly AIO Thread

I'm asking if you can use the RCM jig to boot into a recovery menu to retrain the glitcher in the event that it needs to be and you don't want to disassemble the system to short the RST pin on the RP2040.

    Picofly AIO Thread

I have two questions: 1) With PicoFly - If you have an RCM jig, can you use that on any model to get into a recovery mode to "retrain" the chip in software? 2) Is it true that if you install OFW updates via Daybreak in CFW_SYSNAND, you'll most likely never have to retrain the glitcher...

OK! I see a few people have spun these up! Let's see what happens when they arrive!

Hardware How I fixed 160-0103 system memory error

I'm testing the SD TOOL that I designed to help with dumping any/all eMMC memory modules, not just for the Wii-U. I'll be releasing this for free for everyone to use, soon.

Wii-U NAND-AID - eMMC Recovery and Replacement Interposer Public Test

I just want to explain something as I believe there's some confusion as to why I've removed the "leg" with the castellated edge. Let's look at this picture and pay close attention to the component inside the red box: ^ This is a 10V, 220UF electrolytic capacitor. Electrolytic capacitors of...

Wii-U NAND-AID - eMMC Recovery and Replacement Interposer Public Test

Here's a demonstration of the NAND-AID; How the interposer fits and how the SD card simply just slides in. The solder leg on the right isn't a good idea. It doesn't provide a stable, strong anchor. For the time being, the large, 1.5mm solder PTH that lives under the MicroSD card yields the...

You'll want to select 1 side for castellations.

That's OK. I just wanted it to be clear that this is a WIP that will be partially driven by community feedback. :)

    Picofly AIO Thread

There's a rumor going around that the author of PicoFly just got served papers. Does anyone know if there's any truth to that?
