    I'm really torn between just waiting for a patch, buying a flash card that works, or being a normal person and buying the game (because it's def worth buying). I've got an R4. I'm pretty sure us R4 guys are outta luck on this one.

    Are you kidding? R4DS has near perfect compatibility. Just because it's old doesn't mean it's outdated and useless by any means. I have never had a single problem with it and it does everything I want it to flawlessly. It doesn't even need more updates.

    It looks exactly like mine. It all depends on where you buy it. I bought my from digimartz.com. I got a 2 in 1 pack for $33. It came with a legit R4 and a legit EZ-Flash 3 in 1. It took a little over two weeks to come but you really can't beat that price.

    R4 1.18 is absolutely confirmed to not work. This should be stickied somewhere. Most of the Internets seem to believe that a patch or cheat will never come out that could get rid of the freezes... which really sucks. But at least HG/SS is actually something worth buying.
