Tutorial Setting up 9.0 - 9.2 N3DS/XL for CFW, including EmuNAND, Coldboot, CIA Installer

Hey man, I appreciate how diligent you are on updating this guide. This really is the best one out there. I set up an O3DS a couple weeks back and it's working great. I'm getting started on my N3DS, but whenever I launch PastaCFW/MiniPasta/EmuNAND9 it takes me right back to the HBL. I was...

Tutorial Setting up 9.0 - 9.2 N3DS/XL for CFW, including EmuNAND, Coldboot, CIA Installer

Just a follow up to my earlier issues. I went ahead and swapped out the cable and used a different port with my card reader because it seemed strange to me that smaller CIAs were installing properly, but the larger ones had issues. After swapping out the cables and using a different port...

Tutorial Setting up 9.0 - 9.2 N3DS/XL for CFW, including EmuNAND, Coldboot, CIA Installer

Sorry for the double post. I just went ahead and tried DevMenu. I was able to install it just fine with the CIA, but after trying to use it to install a game CIA I got another error. This time it's: Import failed. File: XXXXXXXXXX Level: LEVEL_PERMANENT (-5) Summary: SUMMARY_INVALID_ARGUMENT(7)...

Hey guys, I've been doing a ton of research on this issue, but I can't seem to find a fix for this... I have an O3DS on 9.2 SysNAND / 10.4 EmuNAND booting in to CakesFW through ctrlbootmgr. My NANDs are desynced, but for some reason whenever I try to install a game CIA (legit or not) it will...

Hardware Wii Video Problems When USB is Plugged In

It was a Seagate external hard drive. The power adapter on it had gone bad I believe. Either that or the actual board that you plugged the USB and power into went bad. Either way the drive tests good and is plugged into a hard drive enclosure. It's not bare wires or anything like that. I tried...

Hardware Wii Video Problems When USB is Plugged In

Do you mean, is the enclosure powered from the wall? If so, yes. I have tried connecting the power adapter for the enclosure to a couple of different power strips and even directly to the wall, but it still gives me the lines.

Hardware Wii Video Problems When USB is Plugged In

As the title states, I have an issue with my Wii when I plug in an external hard drive. I have tried multiple cables and a couple of different enclosures for the drive, but it still gives me pink and green static-like lines going up through the screen. This hard drive used to be an external hdd...

    Hardware SD Card Question

It has been a while since I have messed with my Wii at all, but I remember a couple years ago, you couldnt use an SD card that was SDHC or above 2gb. I forget why, but I know there was a reason. Anyways, now I am looking at DML and I really need an SD card that is larger. Is there still a...
