    Hardware Is my Wii Doomed??

    Not always the case , I sent mine kids Wii back after removing a Wii Clip , it also had just about everthing Homebrew installed. I even used a permanent marker on the black screws to restore its original look.This was a Uk return and Nintendo took about 2 weeks to send a new one.

    Thats exactly what it is a "ferrite bead" I looked at the others ....I think I'll leave soldering it for know....and practice on some of my motherboard graveyard items

    Thanks for help...what do resistors do ? I did try to solder it back on but I may as well have been trying to put C3PO's head back on with my soldering skills..

    Just picked up another Wii , after looking at the board I noticed abit missing off the board , I think its a resistor ? The Wii seems to work ok , can anyone tell me if its essential and how to replace it without too much fuss.... I have arrowed the missing part...

    Can someone help me and post the config file as per the video , I can't seem to get it to save the settings. Do I have to save the settings in both cfg locations ?
