    Just posting to confirm that playing the PAL version has indeed fixed the issue for me. (or at least has for now) Finished the second temple, no freezes. So far so good!

    I've been playing Skyward Sword up until this point, no problems, everything working perfectly, but when I get to the second boss battle in the Earth temple mid-way through it the game along with my Wii and Wiimotes just lockup. I can't turn the system off, and Link seems to do the last movement...

    It's doubtful, but I really hope there's a patch out tomorrow. I plan to buy it tomorrow and knowing my terrible luck a patch will most likely be completed shortly after I purchase the game. >_>
