Homebrew [Release] Luma3DS mod to "unban" a console with 022-2812

Here's a compiled boot.firm from my repo... be warned I just blindly compiled it and haven't tested it on an actual 3DS (I don't really have access to mine for a while), but I didn't write any code, just merged newest Luma with my fork. Try it and let me know how it works, but be wary!

If people still use this fork, I can update it with the most current Luma3DS release (v10.2.1) sometime in the next few days. EDIT: Updated the Git repo to have all changes up to v10.2.1. I'll compile it as soon as I have access to my desktop computer.

I can yeah, since I use it on my personal device I do have a bit of an incentive to keep it up to date.

Homebrew Force all 3DS traffic to go through proxy?

It unfortunately involves SSL sniffing, and I can't get it to route any traffic through my proxy SSL or not :/

Homebrew Force all 3DS traffic to go through proxy?

So I'm messing around with sniffing traffic from the 3DS, and it seems like certain apps don't want to follow the proxy set in system settings. Is there any way to globally force a proxy?

I threw together a quick Python script that decrypts the OTP the same way otptool does so you can use it on any platform: https://gist.github.com/truedread/01c48e0b0ab804c27e6a611c65e1f04a Let me know if you have any issues!

If you want to, go ahead and buy a broken 3DS off ebay for cheap and dump the OTP off it. It’s the cheapest route to unbanning your 3DS, just make sure that you buy the same model as your current one. XL vs. non-XL doesn’t matter, but if you have a new 3DS you need a new 3DS OTP.

The NNID is banned, so that's to be expected. When you do the mod it doesn't wipe your console, it just clears the tickets of purchased items. Those tickets can easily be regenerated on a new NNID and keep the downloads intact, save files and all. The only thing you'd lose is the legitimacy of...

That doesn't fully clear a 022-2812 ban. With that, you can go online but you won't be able to use any Nintendo Network features.

Not quite. Like I said before: So, there are legitimate reasons for this mod. However, it's a small niche. The only way I could see this reaching widespread public use is through this mod facilitating the selling of unbanned OTPs, like how people sell unbanned PS3 IDs. I personally use it...

Yes you can link a new NNID, but unfortunately you can't link the same one as before.

Misc Error 022-2812(SM), is there a way to "unban" and be able to use nnid service with another nnid ?

I don't see why not. You just have to trust that no one else uses that OTP, or else it'll probably get banned. And make sure you're the first one to register an NNID on that OTP.

Homebrew Reuse an already existin' NNID on other 3DS...

I don't think this is possible, unfortunately. Nintendo's servers have your NNID has linked to that old 2DS. If you format your old 2DS or modify your NAND to unlink the NNID, Nintendo's servers still say that your NNID is linked to your old 2DS. Thus, if you try to link your new 3DS to it...
