Homebrew Wiiware / VC ISO Forwarders made easy

Wad2ISO is no longer actively developed since there are several alternatives now available to acheive the same end. The program worked flawlessly for me (back in the day when I was using the Wii) and will still work for you, if you put in the effort to read through this thread to find the answer...

Read the thread, Wad2ISO works with chipped or unchipped Wii's. It has been extensively tested and confirmed working on many Windows variants and languages. It sounds like you have an issue with windows permissions preventing the files being created. Read the thread and you will find the answer ;)

This is incredible - 5000+ downloads and no problems. Excellent!

Homebrew Wiiware / VC ISO Forwarders made easy

Wad2ISO itself needs no guide. If you drop wad files on it (or run it and select wad files), then ISO forwarders will automatically be made for those titles. Every question that relates to Wad2ISO has been discussed in this thread. If you do not have, or know how to create, an emulated nand...

when you use wad2iso, after selecting your wadfiles, a window pops up called Edit Settings?. If you ignore it, it closes after a few second, but if you click the OK button you will see the options available ;)

Your ISO forwarders must be installed into the loader in the same manner and path as your disc based games ;) If your emulated nand is on your SD, make sure that SD nand is chosen in options when you create the ISO etc. etc.

Doesn't cfg already do this? (Sorry, I'm not sure what we're marveling at - prolly missed something along the way  )

I've gotta come clean, I don't mess around with sneek / uneek etc. so I can't offer you any informed advice. I have an emu nand and use it solely for triiforce (and recently cfg loader). It looks like you're kinda trying to set everything up at once, which doesn't usually work. Get one bit...

Looks like nobody else has noticed but, since mod rev 33, the 'return to system menu' setting doesn't work. Well it works intermittently, but fails 9 times out of ten.

Good question - Is there / will there be a way to globally set 'partial emulation' ? Or must we go to the options of each title and set this individually? Keep up the good work ;)

Until I can find a better emu loader that accepts inline arguments, we'll have to endure the failings of Triiforce. I use d2x in slot 249 and have rev17 in slot 199. The few wads (n64 or otherwise) that misbehave using default cIOS are loaded with cIOS 199 selected. Some titles will not run...
