Hacking Move PS4 6.72 content to a bigger HDD

I have the WD Black 5TB and it's great. I use it with extended storage method and have over 200 titles installed, with 1TB to spare. One disadvantage is that the system process to check the disk for errors takes a little longer when there is a kernel panic, and the system seems to re-index all...

Hacking [RELEASE] 5 New 6.72 Exploit Menus To Try

Great information. Thank you for sharing, guys. I know this is probably trivial for most in the scene. All makes sense. The only thing new to me is account activator. I need to learn more about this in case I need to use it in the future. Sounds useful.

Hacking [RELEASE] 5 New 6.72 Exploit Menus To Try

Thanks for the reply. I periodically run Database Backup to a USB stick (128GB). I used to also run save and trophy backup to that as well... Sounds like that may no longer be necessary. Can someone verify, please? (This is all assuming my system must be reformatted some day and I want to...

Hacking [RELEASE] 5 New 6.72 Exploit Menus To Try

Thanks for your great work, @Leeful. Question about backing up save data: Does the Database Backup function in PS-Phwoar! For 6.72 include save data? I'm coming from 5.05 which had a separate routine for save backup, but I did not find it in this version. Thank you.

Hardware GUIDE: Change your EZFlash 3-in-1 Battery (w/ PICS)

I used this guide to replace my battery, and it seemed to go well without problems. The tabs remained intact and I manged to wrap three strips of electrical tape around the battery to secure a good connection. However, even with the new battery my GBA games are saying "Save Failed". My only...

Hacking Wii Sports Resort won't load.

We need someone savvy enough to rip the intro video right out of the ISO. Sounds like it's causing a lot of trouble.

    Hacking Kernel 2.0 question

If you have any interest in loading GBA roms natively, stay clear of the 2.0 kernel. It doesn't recognize them the way 1.90beta11 does...

    Hacking Kernel 2.0 RC2 (6-29)

Why doesn't the 2.0 kernel recognize GBA roms? In ez5kernel 1.90beta11 I can launch GBA roms natively and they work great. Is this feature coming back? GBAExpLoader doesn't seem to work in the 2.0 kernel either.... Is anyone successfully loading GBA roms with this?

DS #3841: The Legendary Starfy (USA)

Yeah, I think we need a new revision of resetsp.bin ... unless someone knows how to get it working?

Hacking EZFlash Vi random freezes with SD card

And not a second too soon! There is an updated resetsp.bin file that addresses a host of software problems, which includes a fix for Peggle Dual Shot (U). Get it HERE.

ROM Hack Ragnarok DS - English Translation Project

Thanks for the replies. This is probably an EZ-Flash Vi issue, as many other apps are freezing on me, too. Maybe I'll try the dev patch, but I doubt it will be any different. I'll report back my findings. And I'll keep praying for that Vi firmware update that will magically solve all of life's...

ROM Hack Ragnarok DS - English Translation Project

Question: Is the current patch relatively stable? I mean, are a lot of people experiencing random black-screen freezing with the current patch? If not, it's probably my flashcart. I'm using an EZ-Flash Vi with 8GB Kingston microSDHC, and a number of DS games & DPG video have been locking up on...

Hacking EZFlash Vi random freezes with SD card

I believe the problem lies within the EZ-Flash Vi firmware. Mine freezes often with 8GB Kingston microSDHC. It might react the same way with any Kingston brand. I cannot confirm, though. The good news is new firmware should be released soon.

ROM Hack Soma Bringer Open Translation

Nice work. It takes dedication to reach almost 98% translation.

ROM Hack Extract Music from Planet Puzzle League

I am overwriting data, not adding. I even checked to make sure my edited SDAT is the exact number of bytes (13,289,472) as the original. NDSTS still says "File size incorrect!" ... EDIT: Turns out the SDAT must be in the same directory as NDSTS. Importing worked...now to test the ROM...
