    No, you cannot. R4DS only supports standard MicroSD, which are cards up to 2GB. Anything higher (4-32GB) is a different standard, MicroSDHC (High Capacity). If you want to use an 8GB microsdhc, you need a flash cart that accepts SDHC, such as the CycloDS Evolution, DSTT, ect.
