    Has anyone managed to devise a consistent way yet to get villagers to move in with the right interior and exterior? I've tried the method a certain user kept peddling, but like everyone else that also tried it- the result was that the tenth villager cloned themselves into the plot.

    Heh. If you're anything like me, you've grinded worse odds than 0.25% on numerous occasions. xD I should add that I do know how to change villagers via hex editing, but only on a very basic level - being *who* the villager is. So once I get another camper I can give things a look.

    OK - I'm getting pretty crazy mixed messages on this thread right now. I've been toying with the save editor but I can't find a way to cleanly add a villager of my choosing. Even if I do it when there's a sold plot, it still uses their house when the specified villager moves in the next day...

    Seems like they really, really went out of their way to make this as convoluted and spaghetti-fied as they could. To what end though? The outcome will be the same, it's just going to take a bit longer.

    Assuming you don't do anything egregious with Atmosphere (i.e. multiplayer cheating, installing NSPs with sigpatches, setting custom user icons, ect.) you're not likely to get banned from using it anyway. It is still possible, but not particularly likely. Again, there isn't no risk whatsoever...

    Hey there. Title. To set the stage a bit, I do have CFW installed on my 3DS already, and do know how to dump, decrypt, and/or mount files with godmode9. This is so I can legally emulate my legally dumped DSiWare games.
