What’s a decent battery mark score for a 2DS XL?

Usually I have brightess at 4 and wifi off, but IIRC the test forces max screen brightness and wifi on for consistency.

What’s a decent battery mark score for a 2DS XL?

I’m battery mark testing my 2DS XL, not sure if my battery is healthy or not. I’ve had my 2DS XL for a few years now so wondering if I should swap in a replacement battery. I’ve run the test twice and my battery life is: Max: 2:45.4 Avg: 1:33.8 Min: 0:43.0 Is this around the expected battery...

    Homebrew OPEN_AGB_FIRM discussion thread

Oh, I didn't think to use GM9. I've been using Notepad3DS to make the changes. Edit - how do I edit the file in textviewer? I can't seem to make any changes, only view the file.

I am, but it's difficult to dial in just right, and it doesn't affect the issues inherent to the colorspace that was discussed from #716 onward. Just curious, what do you have as your settings? I've tried adjusting output and input gamma but haven't hit on anything I've felt was quite right...

What are you testing out specifically? Golden Sun TLA on the 3DS with open_AGB_firm, or are you talking about the GBA shaders in Retroarch?

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story. It's ridiculously good.

It's very much a color tone issue, with everything being overbrightened and slightly color shifted without adjustment. I captured some examples with and without shaders here:

I'd like to know this as well. open_AGB_firm is amazing but GBA colors look bad on 2DS XL and no gamma settings for GBA input or LCD output have been ideal for me. Some kind of color correction that makes it like the VBA-Colors or GBA-Colors Retroarch filters would be amazing. Either way...

Homebrew Question about some GBA VC Inject that won't work (Advance Wars and Boktai)

Holy shit. Changing it to 64k EEPROM not only worked, but it also plays nice with the sleep patch. Thanks so much!

Homebrew Question about some GBA VC Inject that won't work (Advance Wars and Boktai)

Sweet, leaving the sleep patch off Advance Wars got it running. Had to use 512k SST though. The default (panasonic) had some weirdness with the top 10 pixels across showing inverted at the bottom, like the screen was shifted. Works perfectly with 512k SST. Still no luck with Boktai (no save...

Homebrew Question about some GBA VC Inject that won't work (Advance Wars and Boktai)

Good to know with the Boktai issue. Regarding Advance Wars, I'm playing the US version, but my hash matches. And my system version looks right (Sys 11.13.0-45U). I'll try generating the CIA without a sleep patch and see what happens. Thanks for your help.

Homebrew Question about some GBA VC Inject that won't work (Advance Wars and Boktai)

Dang. Do you know if there's a compatibility list somewhere? I haven't had the chance to test everything I've copied over and installed, so it'd save me some time checking the rest for problems. Also, any tips for mGBA? Most games I've tried on it have slowdowns.

Homebrew Question about some GBA VC Inject that won't work (Advance Wars and Boktai)

I've VC injected a good portion of my GBA library to GBA VC and exported to CIA to install on my 2DS XL, and most have worked swimmingly. But two games are proving troublesome. Advance Wars and Boktai. I've searched around here and confirmed that you need to use one of the 512k ROM save types...
