Plus other users quote information so they have to go in and delete every quote they made to that user as well

And that has what lead to data breaches, because the companies lack the ethics of keeping their security up-to-date. They fail to understand and respond to protocols whenever they're told. -

Well the user can demand to see all the data that's stored on them, and GDPR demands this in "reasonable timeframe". Even one month is reasonable. And as said, you don't have copyright on your part of "collaborative creation" so there isn't any law requiring the deletion of posts (and ruining the threads in the same time).+1
