    Considering they're ZIP files alone, it can be opened then re-compressed using any ordinary archive program.

    You can tell that they are if the file has 'PK' at the beginning of its header.

    @Kirbydogs, Since Firefox or any other fork of it recognizes the file format, it would be a matter of using inspect element on the download page and locating the file there. EDIT: Doesn't work, it appears to use additional signatures to validate the extension.
