This thing is almost definitely going to be abandonware like the ezflash omega That was also released with tons of issues that was left to the community to fix.

You can go online with donor certs. No one knows how long they will last till ban. But if you’re using publicly shared ones you’re asking for trouble This isn’t a rule or proof by any means buuuut I’ve been sharing certs with my roommate...

Im still trying to figure out how Godzilla was seemingly standing straight up in the middle of the trench? Because when they showed him sinking there was nothing under him for meters. Maybe the weed just had me overthinking but I wish they...

I also use Brave(its low key the only usable way to use gbatemp on mobile now) but I dislike the mobile UI version of the Youtube app. Especially on smaller screen devices. You also cant cast to another screen from them

Its crazy that there is no "official" way to purchase or stream this outside of japan yet. Then they wonder why its been pirated so many times I enjoyed the movie and would love to purchase an official 4k one..but at this rate if they wait to...

Honestly the PS3 SUCKS for using external hard drives with. I've never once gotten games working from an exFAT or NTFS drive even tho people say it works perfectly fine. So for that reason alone, I wouldn't even try messing with your PS3s setup...

The skip ad button becoming useless was the final nail In the coffin for me. You could tap/click it as much as you want but the ad will just finish playing its whole length I ended up signing up for Maple signer(15/year) to get a dev cert for my...

I forgot the wii u has some stupid Pin thing. You also need a windows app to trick it to use it on PC now. If you have literally any other controller I recommend using that...but I doubt you'd be asking this if you had another option So try...

Sorry for late reply, I ended up taking it apart checking it all putting it back together then it worked. Maybe the board was contacting something I have no clue, but it’s working now.

isnt the wii u controller just bluetooth? Iirc the apple tv(iOS in general) should work with most bluetooth controllers ezpz

If you want to save some effort. Theres a bunch of prefabbed usb c replacements you can buy for all 3ds models on Etsy and eBay. You can certainly do it manually as well, but figured you might want another option :)

If anyone wants to do something similar (at least for save files) between a modded switch and emulator I’ll pay ya lol I want to seamlessly switch between portable and higher quality pokemon

I’d try and get a refund from Aliexpress and order from another seller Customs just likes to pick and choose when they deny packages sometimes. Years ago I tried getting a bunch of Xbox modding supplies from Canada (modchipcentral) to the US and...

Just a minor correction all reported MIG bans so far the people have been found doing other sketchy things Like spoofing gold points, or just only have 3 of the files. I know nothing is certain and no one can no for sure But between this, it...

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
