    I got a GW as well. It wouldn't harm if their update consists of a little Firmware update of the blue card and a few bin-files which you would have to put on the sd-card. But, this is just speculation. Since I don't own any bricked device and I feel more confortable using a9lh instead of gw3ds...

    They mentioned somewhere that their production is ramping up. Perhaps they're going to sell a new Gateway version which allows the full gateway support (even + unbricking functionality) just by using their flash card.

    You can always extract the emunand of your sd-card, install a9lh+luma and import your emunand as sysnand which boots up. I have done the same with my old GW Emunand as I didn't want to reinstall those 50 cia-files ;)

    Since you have such feature if you put the plg-file in the root of the plg-directory of your sd-card (example = custom CPU-Speed editor plugin for n3ds) i presume that putting the plugin in the root of the plg-directory shall be enough. What exactly are you trying to achieve?

    I personally prefer the DSTwo-Card. It has a lot of features like RTS (Real-Time-Save of the RAM State), Cheats, game-speed-modifier - something other cards don't have. The price is about 35 Bucks
