    I've always used my laptop charger, worked fine. i'll hook it up to my laptop charger for a bit then, see where that takes me. I don't have the official charger as i've bought it as open box.

    I'm trying to boot with it connected to my laptop. Pretty sure the battery is flat, as i've been waiting for my SX Core to arrive before using it for the first time in 6-ish months. Can i charge it with the cpu cooler off and the modchip not completely connected? (only the flexcable)

    You mean the capacitors to the left of the cpu socket? Yeah, those seem fine. Don't forget the switch used to show the boot.dat screen, then it just stopped. I've just tried booting without the chip, nothing happens. NAND is back in the stock location, although the flex cable it still soldered...

    Currently in the process of getting my SX Core working, and i have a mariko unit. My switch is running OS 4.0 (i believe) so the advice would be to not update before atmosphere starts supporting the Mariko?

    Yes, NAND is firmly in there. i've reseated it a couple times,also reseated the chip that connects to the NAND connector on the board.

    hey all, Got my SX Core installed today, tested it through every step, got a boot.dat "error" and green LED everytime. Only when i got ready to do the SD card part (Switch all back together) it won't boot anymore. Black screen with pink/purple LED. Any idea's? Taking it back apart right now...

    I still haven't had a refund from xecuter-sx, anyone else in the same boat? I've paid using Bitcoin, as that is the only way I could pay. They don't respond to my emails, anyone else have an idea?
