Sega Megadrive (Genesis) Flashback Mini HD with an USB on internal mother board

I don't know how much this will help anyone but I forgot to post that you CAN use your sega flashback sram saves on retroarch, md.emu(android), or the retron 5/retrofreak but you kinda have to jump through hoops(interleave/uninterleave and truncate/pad the files) but I'll list ways to do this...

Sega Megadrive (Genesis) Flashback Mini HD with an USB on internal mother board

You can run them from anywhere you extract the zip to and to use all you have to do is click on the .bat file you want to use and make sure the console shown under "list of devices attached" then just follow the instructions; the dumper and uploader need only one key press while the remover...

Sega Megadrive (Genesis) Flashback Mini HD with an USB on internal mother board

Yes it will delete all the saved states for the system and make all 10 blank for all genesis games or all game gear/master system games depending on which .bat you use, if you only want to delete certain saved states first use the remover bat then place all the ones you want in the upload folder...

Sega Megadrive (Genesis) Flashback Mini HD with an USB on internal mother board

I made some .bats to dump, remove, and upload the genesis and gg/sms save states. I tested them and they worked but like always use at your own risk, I have the 2GB non-obb version so I don't know if the folders are structured the same for the different versions. Also this is for the save states...

Sega Megadrive (Genesis) Flashback Mini HD with an USB on internal mother board

I found .sav files but they're not in the /system directory they we're in /sdcard if you run adb and change the directory to /sdcard and run type "ls" it will list all the files and folders and you'll see .sav files but unfortunately they are the ram saves and not save states so even if you...

Sega Megadrive (Genesis) Flashback Mini HD with an USB on internal mother board

Thanks so much yeah I'm able to manipulate it with spaces as long as the characters meet the original character number but being able to add more would be great but I understand you have a lot on your plate. So I've messed around with the .ini a lot and I've noticed a few things first make sure...

Sega Megadrive (Genesis) Flashback Mini HD with an USB on internal mother board

If you can use the .sav files with other emulators I would also like a .bat that could dump them as well. I don't know why atgames didn't give a way to delete the save states but then again one look at the dashboard navigation and it becomes clear. Also I was messing around with the...

    Hacking Gateway or DSTwo+ question

Thank you all for your posts and helpful information, I guess I'll go with the Gateway then since its not that much more and I'm more interested in playing 3ds games more rather than snes/gba/ds games. I would like to go the CFW route but I was told that I needed an original OOT or Cubic Ninja...

    Hacking Gateway or DSTwo+ question

I was thinking about buying a flashcart for my 2ds which is on 8.2fw and was wondering which card to get. I know that the DSTwo+ is a Gateway emulator but I don't really know all of the features the Gateway card and what the advantage would be choosing it over the DSTwo+. thanks in advance.

Hacking EZ Flash and Pokemon Games

Thanks for the info Fast. I'm going to be playing all on roms I have the real games but I beat them all and don't want to erase my files so I'm going to play them all on roms this time. I was just about to get an ez flash until I saw a thread about something called gba extend which is an option...

Hacking DS Flash Cart with GBA emulator question?

I know it's a slot 1 card but I'm confused about the gba extend which lets you transfer information from a gba.sav to a nds file. I'm not sure if you need a slot 2 card to do this or if it will do it all on the DSTwo. I also want to know if I can use the palpark to migrate my pokemon with just...
