    Maybe try clearing the drive, are you familiar with diskpart and the "clean" command? They're using GPT/exfat.

    What settings did you use? E.g. was it gpt, exfat and default sector size. For no. 2, I meant make sure the HDD is actually powering on when you turn the console on, although no 3 answers that.
