Gaming Misc What do you think is actually the worst game ever made?

Trivial Pursuit for the Sega Master System. A trivia game where it only accepts boolean answers and it seems like the answer to everything is the same 'left' option. The only reason to play this is to troll people, like Desert Bus.

Hardware Trying to find a B+M Key SSD to NVMe PCIE 4 SSD adapter

My mistake, I thought the Orico was NVME, missed the tiny SATA at the top. TBH I don't even know if M.2 SATA to NVME adapters exists, I've only seen NVME to SATA. Even then it will still be too slow as it's 560MB/s...

Hardware Trying to find a B+M Key SSD to NVMe PCIE 4 SSD adapter

Officially that SSD is way too slow anyway: https://www.orico.cc/index/product/detail/3495.html https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/support/hardware/ps5-install-m2-ssd/#min Please correct me if I'm wrong, but won't B+M go in M Key M.2 anyway without an adaptor?

Mattel is selling a LEGO-like OG Xbox Set for $380

It was the "fantastic original condition" (implying that you never opened it) and "Hasn't even been booted up for over 15 years." That prompted me to make my response because leaking capacitors, especially the infamous clock capacitor on 1.0-1.5, at best stop the system from working and at worst...

Mattel is selling a LEGO-like OG Xbox Set for $380

Unless you've done so, I would suggest checking the capacitors as the console is infamous for them leaking, especially the clock cap on 1.0-1.5 revisions. Even the 'safe' 1.6 revision can suffer from them, such as the 'Tuscany' PSU inside one of mine.

Mattel is selling a LEGO-like OG Xbox Set for $380

My point is that we're talking different markets, people may want the 'fun' of assembling this and then just putting on a shelf, similar to people with statues and other tat on shelves. I'm also probably a bit numb to the price of these now, considering how many Lego sets we sell at my retail...

Mattel is selling a LEGO-like OG Xbox Set for $380

'Adult Lego' has really taken off over the last few years, we sell loads of it at my retail job, so I'm not surprised this exists. I personally wouldn't compare these to modding the real thing, considering they're vastly different things and require different tools/skillsets. My dad assembled...

Will I have to rebuild the LPC?

GTA 6 Nov 19 launch could cost the US economy $1B

Reminds me of Fallout 4's release, apparently enough people were off sick at uni that day one tutor sent a meme around. What was annoying was that I was off that day genuinely ill.

Things you recently bought or got

Samsung S26 Ultra I planned on getting the S27 Ultra, but the constant talks of price rises and a sale made me upgrade sooner. Also picked up a modxo from AliExpress, seems to be working but I need to mod it for RGB and it's hard to tell where the exact solder joint is for my revision.

Xbox to offer digital licences with physical disc purchases

If the digital license is transferable like some rumours suggested, I wonder if that means activation checks to prevent abuse?

Homebrew The Minish Cap gets a native 3DS port with dual/widescreen support

Come on, be honest, you know this forum would complain about 'lazy greedy Nintendo'. Frankly, I'd rather they just sell the ROMs for a reasonable price and let the community do it's thing given them time to remake Star Fox again.

Hardware Any cheap HDMI mods for OG Xbox 1.6 (and any other 'fun' mods)?

Thought I'd have a try at a custom 3D printed light up badge, here's the WiP/V1 using a bench power supply: Right now I'm using a regular LED/resistor because I had them lying around, long term I'll probably switch to RGB using the modxo and maybe reduce the height of the base, perhaps going...

Hardware I want to try and give Nintendo 64 a fair chance at gaming.

The biggest issue I have with emulation is accuracy. Dealing with real hardware can be a PITA but a poor emulator can ruin the experience. I only managed to get round to playing Conkers Bad Fur day with Rare Replay after previously trying it on an OG Xbox and when I tried playing Space station...

Cosy city-builder LEGO Skylines announced, set to launch on Steam, Xbox Series, PS5, and Switch 2

I'm guessing you've never looked at Cities Skylines nor it's DLC. Either way, I hope you like the Kaiser Chiefs.
