    I have nearly a hundred GB worth of those (full CD library) and while I have no problem on my n2dsxl running normal .pce card games,and I've gotten the.iso downloads of a couple of JP games running. I have no luck with the bin/cue. Any help would be epic! Thanks.

    It will still work perfectly fine. The extra plastic and whatnot are just there either to make it easier to remove the cart or to just complete the form. As long as you put some sort of tab on the back of it (Like I said, Duct Tape works wonders) then you should have no problem whatsoever.

    If by DSiSoftware not being firmware you mean the downloadable games and applications then you are correct; I was not refering to that as firmware. What I was referring to was what you get when you boot up your DS without a game in it (Pictochat, download play, settings...all that stuff)...
