Emulation Hardware Getting games like Robopon Sun Version to play on the EZ-Flash Jr cart.

Romhacks that make Robopon playable on flashcartridges were released some days ago. https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/9660/ https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/9565/ The description only mentions EDGB X7 and MBC-3 flashable cartridges. I wonder if EZ Flash Junior works. Someone on the comments...

ROM Hack Gyakuten Saiban 1-3 Translation

The first 3 Ace Attorney games were released on GBA only in Japan. Later, the games were remade for Nintendo DS with redraw graphics, new music and touchscreen features. Then, these NDS versions were localized and released outside Japan, which is the version we all know and love. The last game...

Hardware GBA Krikzz teases a new flashcard for GBA

EZ Flash IV had a minor issue too with bigger ROMs. It couldn't run them from PSRAM (which was fast) and it was necessary to load them from NOR, which worked, but it was very slow to write the first time. Nevertheless, the EZ Flash IV is still a solid option, if only it wasn't out of production...

Hardware GBA Krikzz teases a new flashcard for GBA

That's very impressive. I just got a Chisflash with rumble only and flashed Drill Drozer. It plays pretty well. Any ideia if this is already avaliable? I couldn't find it anywhere. I share that feeling about EZ Flash. I have an old EZ Flash IV mini SD (yes, mini SD, not micro SD) and it...

Hardware GBA Krikzz teases a new flashcard for GBA

About the solar sensor, there's already the EpicJoy cartridge, which is very cheap, but needs some hardware to write the ROM. Unfortunately, the only option right now for motion sensor is Inside Gadgets, but their supply is limited and the price is on the high end too. A ChisFlash or...

Hardware GBA Krikzz teases a new flashcard for GBA

I asked on the thread about the solar sensor and Krikzz replied to me that it will detect any kind of light, not just ultraviolet like the original Boktai cartridges. So, the sensor on this new flashcard should be similar to the ones on the InsideGadgets and EpicJoy cartridges.

Hardware GBA Krikzz teases a new flashcard for GBA

Krikzz posted today on X (Twitter) that he's working on a new flashcard for the Game Boy Advance. The video shows a Game Boy Advance Micro playing Wario Ware Twisted, a game which featured motion sensors. The handheld is tilted and the game recognizes the movement. After playing some...

Emulation Hardware Getting games like Robopon Sun Version to play on the EZ-Flash Jr cart.

Unfortunately, Robopon isn't playable on any flashcards, since the HUC3 mapper isn't totally understood. It featured RTC (real time clock) and an IR (infrared sensor) for wireless trading (it was called GB Kiss). EZ-Flash Jr is a product long abandoned. Even the RTC feature was never fixed, so...

EZ-Flash Air New 960Mb Nor Flashcart

I don't have high hopes for this. EZ Flash now just release new products without fixing glaring issues with old products. Since I got an EZ Flash Jr, I've gotten bummed with them. It drains a lot of power and don't work on some devices. Besides, the RTC was never truly fixed. In case anyone...

    ds phat general upkeep

I would say the most important thing is to apply a screen protector, specially the bottom screen, since it can scratch from use. Another thing, if you don't mind, would be to use a case. The issue with handheld consoles is that the screen will always have issues with time, even with normal use.

Ship of Harkinian and Perfect Dark (Native Ports in the Works)

Did you copied all the data files? You can download them from VitaDB and extract on the data folder. The folder "ux0:/data/soh/" need these files: - oot.otr (Extracted from a N64 ROM) - shipofharnikian.json (Downloaded from Datafiles) - a folder called "shader_cache" (Downloaded from Datafiles)

    Why are 3DS's so expensive?

Some people think the only true way to play 3DS games is on original hardware, because of the stereoscopic 3D effects, so they don't care about paying premium. I think that's an interesting way of thinking, since even Nintendo acknowledged that the feature wasn't that much used and released the...

Hardware Tutorial GBA Homebrew app Aliexpress GBA RTC Cart

You should totally play the Boktai games. They’re really awesome, because the solar sensor isn’t just a gimmick, but a feature integrated in very interesting and varied mechanics through the gameplay. About the light sensor on the Epicjoy cartridge, it isn’t very sensitive. For example, if...

Hardware Tutorial GBA Homebrew app Aliexpress GBA RTC Cart

I bought one cart like this and it looks pretty good. The ROMs need patches if the game isn't SRAM. I tried loading Boktai: the sun is in your hand (EEPROM save type) and it was necessary to patch the ROM two times for it to save properly, one with GBATA and another with a custom patcher from...
