    i did,i've tried pretty much everything i can think of. from what i could find while researching and talking to sony support,it looks like the wireless chip might've been defective and the new update "triggered" the defect. it can't connect without a mac address and it was gone after it updated.

    Yeah, i've tried recovery mode, formatting, resetting, rebuild the database, reloading the firmware with qcma. i can't get anywhere with it. at this point idk what else there is for me to do without being able to get on the internet :(

    So before, it had a mac address and it showed different wifi names. Obviously some wifi didn't work anyway because of newer authentication, but i was able to use my Hotspot to connect to the internet. After the update, it's like the wifi doesn't fully toggle on and no wifi names show up at all...
