I think the best way to make it work is to construct my terrain out of triangles and then delete those tris in my "deletion area"
From there I could just connect the tris surrounding the deletion area to the area -

Top of the main page is tabs for different game consoles, click on your system and look thru posts for an answer, or create your own and ask a question. That's how forums work. You will get better answers than chat.+1 -
