GBAtemp one off portal survey- most disappointing DS game

I'll probably get lynched for saying this, but my choice is The World Ends With You. I like the general concept, and I have heard so much praise piled on it... but it kinda sucks. The controls feel gimmicky and a little awkward (it would have benefitted from fewer touch-screen gimmicks, that...

    Gaming Megaman!

I can't believe I'm even responding to this, especially when it's been the better part of a month since my last post. Umm, no I don't. In fact, I have no idea exactly what the hell you're trying to say. Your English is extremely bad. If you're really trying to say that Quickman's stage isn't...

    Gaming Anyone playing Gungnir?

I played this to the end of the second battle, and it's... ok, I guess. Despite all the weirdness going on, the combat still comes across as pretty generic SRPG, which is sad considering creative game systems is really the only thing Sting does well. I probably won't come back to it, but it...

    Gaming Hexyz Force Help?

I've done that as well during the Cecilia Route, but unfortunately I've read comments that there is a part of the game where you'll need to access part of the Tower directly from the map without going through the back door. I'd be extremely glad if you keep this thread updated if you find...

    Gaming Megaman!

    a) They are programmed to do no such thing. They are on a timer. b) If something isn't actually difficult, calling it fake difficulty is highly suspect. The snakes are easily visible and do not lie about what they are and what they intend to do. You have plenty of time to process their...

    Gaming Megaman!

Not since I was like 7 years old, since that jump is quite easy. You can see the snakes. You've seen them before this point in the level, so you know they shoot at you. If you don't know to wait to dodge the bullets before jumping, you shouldn't be playing a platformer, since you significantly...

    Gaming Megaman!

Megaman 2 is highly overrated. The weapon choices overall weren't especially interesting, doubly so since pretty much the only weapon that matters for the entire game is Metal Blade. Then you have the cheap, fake difficulty brought on by BS design choices like Quickman's stage. It's still an...

    Gaming Megaman!

I hate to go against the flow, but while I love Maverick Hunter X, I find Powered Up to be a chore at best. While I can (begrudgingly) forgive the cutesy graphics, for me the gameplay feels loose and inexact when compared to the NES release. Also, the first Megaman has always been the weakest of...

    Gaming Hexyz Force Help?

This game is apparently notorious for freezes, even for legit UMD/PSN players. I've heard that entering the Tower of Judgment from the World Map is particularly bad, especially for ISO/CSO users. I coincidentally have just recently started this game again only to stumble upon this glitch again...

    Hacking Dios Mios Lite

I think it may need to be a GC disc to work. I think when I tried it earlier the Super Smash Bros. Melee disc worked but the Wii Play disc did not. I'm really looking forward to the day when DML is a general purpose MIOS - I can't justify keeping it installed permanently until it can run retail...

Hacking Best Way to Mod Any Wii or WiiU: ModMii for Windows: Official Support Thread

I'd try various things before giving up on the card - wipe the contacts of the microSD card itself with a dry, clean towel, blow lightly into the adapter to remove any dust, reformat as FAT32 with a smaller "allocation unit size" (as Windows calls it), and so forth. I've used a 1GB Sandisk...

Hacking Best Way to Mod Any Wii or WiiU: ModMii for Windows: Official Support Thread

Neek2o is enabled by default, so you'll need to deactivate it in the options to turn it off. It could be that you just don't have a game on your USB drive/stick - I think even with Sneek2o + DI you need one in either the /games folder (converted with Modmii) or the /wbfs folder (in .wbfs...

    Hacking Uneek+DI No signal?!

It might not be a bad idea to delete the sneek, bootmii, and nand folders off your SD card and USB Flash Drive and use ModMii to build UNEEK + DI with neek2o as well as a fresh NAND - it helps to remove user error from the process (you'll need to install a channel with MMM to switch to the...

    Hacking Uneek+DI No signal?!

I had this problem earlier. If nothing happens for 20+ minutes, try a test load with a USB flash drive. It's possible that your HDD simply can't handle Uneek (I think you need a sufficiently quick HDD for it to work).

    Hacking neek2o

As an update, it appears that my HDD wasn't fast enough for uneek (which must mean that I just botched my Sneek install somewhere). I haven't had issues with the drive in the past, but switching to my USB Flash drive was enough to get uneek working... sorta. It seems to freeze whenever I try to...
