    Hmm... If the display is connected properly then I am not sure what it could be. You say you have changed the connector, have you checked the ribbon cable itself to see if it has somehow been damaged? It might be worth using a little contact cleaner on the contacts as well whilst you are there.

    Have you checked the ribbon cable to connect the display is inserted correctly? If it isn't inserted properly then the display might not work, like in your case.

    What specifically does not work out of docked mode? Does it work if you boot the switch in docked mode and then remove it from the dock?
