    Thank you for the reply, but I'm confused. DVD's of movies and my PS2 games work, it is only my burned DVDs that are failing to read. So when you say "dead" do you just mean that the laser is unable to read burned DVDs or that in a short amount of time it will likely fail to read everything else...
