    Sometimes just changing the compression rate can make a game work. Castlevania has that problem at level 10, but once you set the compression to 5, it works perfectly.

    I don't know about hacking potential, but it does make it easier to make homebrew games, not that it was that hard in the first place. And I learned basic when I was 12 as well, but that was when it was first released for consumer use.

    If he is just playing PSP games you cannot go wrong with either CFW. PRO is a bit better at compatibility for PSX game though.

    Thank you so much, that is exactly what I was looking for. Do you know if all of the Eboots were compressed with PSX2PSP? 3 of my games that are listed as working are coming up as corupted data on my PSP. I changed to ImpalerPSX for the 3 games and they are working perfect now.

    Well at least Chrono Cross is working. I will have to make my own as well. Update Chrono Cross Metal Gear Solid Suikoden II Beyond the Beyond Are all working for me. Next game: Legend of Dragoon.
