    Hardware Vista burning program

Provided you're using a DVD-R or a DVD+R with its booktype set to DVD-ROM, probably. I've had burns turn out badly for a number of reasons wholly unrelated to the software or medium I was using. Give that a shot, and it will probably end well.

    Hardware Vista burning program

No, that will not work, as you need to use a piece of software with the ability to burn image files. I can personally attest that imgburn works very well on Vista.

Hacking <How-To>Get Homebrew up and running using the Twilight Hack.

As far as I know, the twilight hack is the primary method for installing the Homebrew Channel on Wii consoles bereft of a drive chip, which would allow them to install via any burned DVD, so the shortest answer to your first question I can provide is a resounding "probably." I am fairly certain...

Hacking October 23rd Wii Fix by ‘a_running_pir8’.

You need to make sure the "apps" and "wad" folders are at the root of the SD card's file system or else the Homebrew Channel and WAD manager, respectively, will not recognize them. "Wii Fix Tools" is a folder probably provided purely for your convenience, as an organizational device.

Hacking <How-To>Get Homebrew up and running using the Twilight Hack.

Hacking October 23rd Wii Fix by ‘a_running_pir8’.

What version is your system menu, what homebrew applications or, more generally, WADs have you already installed via a homebrew WAD manager, and what WAD are you trying to install? Perhaps there is an issue with that specific WiiWare title. If the WAD files have not caused a problem after two...

Hacking Wii Disk Loaders Issues and Answers :

There are only a few LG drives--four, to be exact, if I am remembering correctly--that can read Wii discs on a computer. You can find one to purchase, but a backup dumper running on the Wii is certainly the less expensive option.

    Hacking Playing backups ....

Ideally, you should only be playing backups of games you own, but I cannot conceive of how Nintendo might "ban" your Wii during establishment of a wireless connection. Nintendo's service model is highly different than, say, Xbox LIVE, where such a task is certainly possible as demonstrated at...
