    no you dont have to make space in the wad manager files rename something called like wadmanager.dol and rename it to boot .dol put it into a wad manger map if it isn't already and put that map in the apps fil you have it shoul look like this /apps/wadmanager/ if you understand

    i use tdk disc dvd+r and a tdk dvd-r i also patched ios 36 ans installed cios 249 rev 14 and i also couldn't install bootmii as an ios he couldn't create anything on the sd card when he tried to create the map /bootmii it said failed error (-2)
