If Epic Games and Microsoft can backup whatever truck of money to get AAA games for free or included in their subscription to its users. The least Nintendo can do is add games they know people want. There was Zero demand for these titles, everyone wants Virtual Console, N64, GC, etc. It's one...

Hacking TX Presents SX OS v2.9 BETA - With Full v9.0 Firmware Support!

Well best of luck, I'm not sure what you're getting at with '.. until I followed that thing you suggested..' at no point did anyone suggest downgrading firmware, only SX OS. If you have a quote of mine you can get me on, I'll apologize and help but until them, try other options in this thread...

Well, you downgraded to 8.1 so I'm not sure what your switch is doing at the moment. Do you have a nand backup and are you doing this in emunand or sysnand?

No need to downgrade your firmware, just SX OS to 2.8. Boot atmosphere reinstall 9.0 firmware and boot sx os 2.9

Yeah you should be able to. Be sure to make an emunand and backup nand tough to avoid any issues in the future with updates. (if your emunand gets updated you can just create a new one using your sysnand) auto None! My cart reader was spooky though so if you are booting into emunand 8.1 with...

Update sysnand first, then update emunand. That's the way I did it. (Since I was still able to boot into SX OS 2.8 with my sysnand on 9.0)

Well most people were updating from 8.1 to 9.0 but yeah, when updating to 9.0 people were using SX OS 2.9 which is broken atm. So use 2.8 to update, then update to 2.9.

Since most of us messed it up using 2.9 to update 8.1. I believe if you use SX OS 2.8 and boot into emunand 8.1 you can update using the latest choi. As for sysnand you can just connect to Nintendo Servers and update it. You can do that first, as I ran sysnand 9.0 and emu 8.1 without issues but...

This is correct; but be sure to use the latest version of choi and back up that nand (and save files with checkpoint).

Back up now, since 9.0 is working with SX OS no reason not to. You are correct; here is a repository REMOVED auto I tested Emunand 9.0 and the cart slot works. If you're still spooked; then update without burning fuses so you can downgrade if you find some bugs along the way.

Good to hear! Be sure to back up that nand and label it and place it somewhere safe. I think sites like Mega provide enough free space to back up your nand there.

You're 100% I was in the same boat; but you can fix up your switch in a matter of minutes. There's a post about 4 pages back that explains how to do it. (Be sure to backup nand after you're done)
