    Hacking Switch SD issue?

So, I'm helping a good friend boot his switch into rcm, and we've run into a small kink. He's on 5.0.0 and hasn't formated his SD card. The switch wants him to update to 5.1.0 to be able to create the necessary files, BUT CFW isn't working yet. Any ideas/thoughts?

Homebrew Question How is Nintendo 64, Gamecube and PS2 emulation coming along?

I find it really shocking you were trying to warn the OP about an issue and everyone jumps up your tail about it. The problem is it could really damage the switch's LCD from what I've heard. It's very experimental and isn't recommended YET. The best course of action is to either test it, (and...

    ROM Hack Rom Hacking Help

So bear with me a minute, because by coming here to post I'm being VERY desperate. I've already visited Reddit and TREZ to no avail. I'm looking for those select few who actually know how to ROM hack. I've tried a bit with pokemon and that's nice and all, but I would much rather start a project...

It hasn't worked since initial release for me, wish it would though.

make sure it's a .sav Saving works fine for me on 5.0.2 with the latest update. If you came from GDKgba/JakiBaki's emulator then the save format is different. If not ignore what I said.

    Homebrew RELEASE VBA-next for Switch(works 4.1)

My question for you good sir, how do you plan on bypassing the light sensor, I know there's a gameshark cheat that enables that, but this emulator doesn't support those (yet) I'd LOVE to play through those two games on switch and finally finish them. (Sorry if this seems off topic)

I instantly had issues any time I tried dock with either emulator, but like stated above, atmosphere will fix these in due time.

    Homebrew RELEASE VBA-next for Switch(works 4.1)

From my testing this seems to have worked on the battle network games too! I was skeptical about the x button and the menu, but in practice I actually love the convenience.

Also curious, does this work docked? I would test, but I'm at work.

    Homebrew RELEASE VBA-next for Switch(works 4.1)

It is a shame, but I'm sure the dev wouldn't mind help & I'm also sure JakiBaki wouldn't mind helping where needed.

VBA is the more well rounded and best supported emulator for Gameboy there is. It's the optimal choice in this situation.

    Homebrew RELEASE VBA-next for Switch(works 4.1)

Tested on 5.0.2 I tested all the battle network games (very lightly - 10 games in total) The sound is very scratchy as other comments have stated - but performance is perfect with no graphical issues. Thanks for getting this ported so quickly though!
