What's the main purpose of the USB disconnect strap? I am running Fusee Suite and currently have the USB Strap disabled. Enabling the USB straps in the settings messes up with my USB bluetooth dongle for my switch.
Thanks for the tip! I didnt change mine manually but flashing one of the Setting.uf2 files on the github fixed it. All straps are now detected!
Thanks again for all your help @binkinator 😁
Just finished the installation! All seems to be working well. One thing I noticed though is that the USB voltage strap isnt showing up here. I used a multimeter to test it and it says that the connection is there. Does this mean I got a bad chip?
What are the files in "Part_1_bin_files" for? So far, I've flashed the files in the "Part_1_UF2_FLASH_FIRST" and the "Part_2_LONG_PRESS_FLASH_SECOND" folders and was wondering if I needed to do anything else. Thanks in advance!
Just to confirm, using trigger 7 (UF2 mode) lets us update the firmware through the usb port on the switch itself? No need to reattach the usb on the trinket?
I heard the same thing about the Vol strap. One video I saw on YT used the pad on the vol+ button itself on the flex ribbon on the top right on the console. Seems to be the safest/easiest way to get that taken care of.
