    Why does the term "Port Sniffing" sound just, so, so wrong? Anyways, I think your best option would to be to try to obtain a translated manual of the 3DS, this should contain all of the steps you need for wifi connectivity. Good luck doing whatever it is you're trying to do

    In fact, look at this for any TCG, this is certainly a viable option for the next generation of handheld based games based on TCGs. What if, for instance, this was extended beyond normal cards? it already is likely that the AR cards do not have special ink, why not simply change the AR program...

    Don't you think that Nintendo might make use of the "always on" wireless feature of the 3DS to update and check for a flashcart? It would be simple enough for the device to simply run a check with a server when in the area of a wifi hotspot, constantly updating software without the user's knowledge
