    so use the update for r4i sdhc instead of r4i-sdhc? shouldnt we be doing that? we just need to write the card specific bootloader with the card specific update

    i dont understand what you meant by that , but this process should work anyway , if you install the update for your card from one card and then have it be applied on the bricked one , should work.

    for the sake of it , i have 2 bricked cards , this is the only one that retailer keeps , and that store doesnt offer a refund (it imports)

    uh i tried that , no change , stuck on white screen (NTR launcher with resetslot set to 1 as recommended on thread) , Stuck on Loading (Stage 2 Launcher for r4 rev for ds), NO cart inserted....
