    Homebrew UPDATE: Regarding the recent 3DS banwave

    US New 3DS XL 11.4 with boot9strap. Not banned. Played Smash Bros online, checked Friend's list, no ban status. Never used Freeshop either. All SpotPass options in-game and on System Settings are turned off. Also got on Badge Arcade and no ban still.

    Sorry I don't know how to change the title, and also isn't downgrading to 2.1 on a N3DS unnecessary if you could just CTR transfer straight to a 9.2 N3DS firmware and use SafeA9LHInstaller? Which is how I was able to get A9LH on my Monster Hunter 4 3DS.

    Does anyone know if downgrading on 11.3 from the Decrypt9WIP Arm9 payload works? I want to attempt a 9.2 CTR transfer for my friend's 11.2 N3DS that doesn't have A9LH. I'm also using an N3DS but on 11.3 with A9LH and Luma CFW.

    Misc Required to update to play online?

    So my friend list says a system update is required to even be online. I can't connect online to ORAS either. I'm running off a N3DS 11.1.0-34U. Did Nintendo implement something to the servers or something?

    Is it possible to make a Play Coin app that gives you 300 play coins for 1 step? That way during game sessions that may use Play coins you won't have to exit your game and go to homebrew just to give yourself 300 play coins again.

    Alright, I'm convinced that ctr-httpwn has absolutely nothing to do with it. This post helped me plenty, so I'll restart my router right away. All feedback is greatly appreciated. EDIT: Add-on, you were right. My router was being poopy and a simple reset allowed my 3DS to access online again.

    That might be, but as I said, the only things that don't work are the online functions of the friends list and games with internet connectivity. The eShop and internet browser run fine.

    My connection's DNS is set to auto-obtain. If that is the case, I may as well go buy another 3DS then... If it isn't ctr-httpwn, I don't know. I suppose I should try going online with a different connection to see if it is the connection or the 3DS itself.

    That's what I'm gonna do. On another note, my brother has a 2DS 11.1.0-34U under the same connection as I am. His 2DS does not have ctr-httpwn installed and his online status works 100%. Mine has it installed and even without running it, I can't get online.
