Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Sorry I forgot to say I managed to get it working but it only works for a while, I'll still output it now though. root@3ds-relay:/tmp# ifconfig $(nvram get wl0_ifname) ath0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 34:AF:2C:EA:DF:34 UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Telnet seemed to work fine for whatever reason. SSH it didn't. Looks a neat new script. However, why does it always have 1 or #1 after a while in the cron? on management cron on web gui? Then: root@3ds-relay:~# /tmp/nzone.sh BASE16,GBATEMP -sh: /tmp/nzone.sh: not found except...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I still can't actually get it to work though. Must have spent a good 3-4 hours in total playing around with it. Following the past history, even tried v2 with no success, it just remains its own mac address forever.

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Hi guys, I did this a while back. What is the situation with this homepass relay now? I wanted to do it for pokemon. I live in the UK, this script for dd-wrt is very odd and won't seem to even change the mac address for wifi anymore, it used to be that you do attifi but i don't know whether...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Not if they live outside the USA. If they are outside the USA, they could ignore the 3ds data if it is meant to be a particular SSID of a particular country origin. It will but like I said, I want to take advantage before I think they will take an approach to reduce this ability a bit more...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Banning fake mac addresses? Easy! Checking the origin IP? Even easier. The reason this exists is to BRING your 3DS wherever you go. 'Homepass' completely ruins the point. Anyway, I am just going to let it ride out. It isn't exciting as when you go out somewhere and find a streetpass waiting...
