    It's a wild story. I think the old owners did a poor job with their bookkeeping, but the true villain are the higher ups who did the hostile takeover. Leveraging your church and ties with local law enforcement to bully and silence those who have less than you makes my blood boil so much.

    I just picked up remake and rebirth for $30 on steam. Looking forward to dive in! I finally played through the original a couple years ago. Seems like a blast!

    Super cool to see it finally finished! Can't wait to give it a shot. I also want to shout out the incredible Mother Encore, which just released it's second act. If you haven't checked it out, you really should! It's a ground up reimagining of Mother 1 with modern sensibilities

    Im also in the boot Linux camp. I have devices for my other stuff and a PC handheld, but PC handhelds are not very portable or power efficient. I can but first party games no problem, but I'm waiting for moonlight and steam

    I think it really comes down to how much you value the character moments. It worked for me, but I see how people can get fed up.

    I don't know if this is a hot take, but I don't think remakes should ever just do the same thing again. Especially when the originals are still available. If I want to play OoT, I'll just go play OoT. I want them to have the high level structure of the game and do something entirely new with it.
