Gaming Rock band 3 RF hanging

I've got TU4 which allows custom content which I know is used by others so that shouldn't be an issue. I'll try and re-download it as I'm at a loss as to what else could be causing it. Thanks for the replies guys.

Gaming Rock band 3 RF hanging

Hi guy's, This game hangs as soon as you try to load a song. I've tried different dumps. I was thinking it may be due to being region free, but I can't seem to find a pal dump. I have got my system set to unlock region locked games. I'm on a JTAG aurora. Any help would be appreciated

Hardware Hard drive charging via y cable

Hello one and all, I have a 4tb Seagate usb drive. When I power the drive via a y cable plugged in to the mains then plug in to an otg adapter on the switch, no content is detected. Drive isn't even scanning (or flashing to indicate it's reading content). But when I plug the drive in to the...

Hacking Pkgj help with download storage

Oh ok. It's just that I didn't realise there was a limit on games that appear in the live area. So I'd downloaded a lot that didn't show. Once I'd organised games into folders I was able to see everything I'd previously downloaded, but I lost the remaining storage space I had when they appeared...

Hacking Pkgj help with download storage

Hi Guys, I've been downloading titles via pkgj. I've now ran out of free memory space. Does pkgj keep downloaded files stored somewhere and a separate file for installed games, so a 1 gig game would take up 2 gig of space? And if it does, can I delete one of the files to free space up? Thanks...

    Hacking Nintendont fat32 game limit

Hi guys, hope you can help. I've just set up nintendont after purchasing a 1tb ext HDD for my Wii. Due to the windows restrictions on 32 gig partition size on fat32, how can I put more than 32 gigs of GameCube games on my drive? As soon as I partition over 32 gigs windows won't play ball?

Homebrew Can you run Emulators wrote for NDS on 3DS with a NDS flashcard?

I don't think snesmulds, nitrografx or scummvm will work if your using the gateway blue card. I've not been able to get them running. I may have snesmul configured wrongly, but the other two emulators don't work at all. Although I think I may have seen a patch for scummvm.

    Homebrew emulation on blue gateway

Hi guys, I used to have a bunch of emulators that worked fine on R4 wood back on the ds. So I copied my files/ROMs over to the blue gateway only to find snemul, TurboGrafx, scummds etc no longer work. Could it be I need to restructure the way I have them set up or is this likely a problem with...

amd is a bit cheaper though
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Cheaper and they are less stingy with the RAM not a big issue now but I can imagine in a yard or two things might be different
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Year not yard lol
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the vram is one advantage when it comes to AI but ends up being slower even with that and really AI is the only use case that needs more than 12gb vram right now
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Interesting lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think I watched a video where two games at 4K where eating just over 16GB of RAM and it's the one case where the 7900XT and XTX pulled ahead (minus RTX of course)
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
cyberpunk at 4k without DLSS/fidelityfx *might* exceed 12gb
    +1
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but that game barely runs at native 4k
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it was some newer games and probably poorly optimized PS4 or PS5 ports
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
they definitely will age better but i feel dlss might outweigh that since it looks about as good as native resolution and much less demanding
    +1
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I played Cyberpunk on my old 2080 Ti it sucked lol
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
AMD could introduce something comparable to DLSS but nvidia's got a lot more experience with that
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
least amd 7xxx has tensor cores which the previous generations didn't so there is the potential for AI upscaling
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They have FSR or whatever it's called and yeah it's still not great
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
so AMD seem to finally be starting to take AI seriously
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Oh yeah those new 8000 CPUs have AI cores built in that's interesting
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe they plan on offloading to the CPU?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Would be kinda cool to have the CPU and GPU working in random more
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Tandem even
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
LLMs can be run on cpu anyway but it's quite slow
