Geez Louise Nintendo, i mean i have heard of protecting your IP, but this is just ridiculous! Good thing i don't really buy new stuff from them anymore, and i'm not afraid to pirate the games i want for the older hardware.
pay off bills, pay to get my car fixed, get some land and get a house built. I would definitely still work because the first rule of having money is don't tell anyone you have it, flaunting it falls under this too.
Nintendo's been on a roll haven't they? you take down one emulator that actually WAS supporting piracy and suddenly you become the god of DMCA issuing.
playing devil's advocate, a lot of the stuff they DMCAed this time is used for pirating games. i'm all for companies legitimately protecting what's theirs.
this does not mean that i don't pirate nintendo games you can't buy from them anymore though.
honestly i would try this for my own switch library so im not hauling around so many physical games. However this flashcart has now made me very cautious of the used market, although the chances are slim there is still a chance of someone buying a game, dumping it and then returning it or...
so far the only legal thing to happen regarding nintendo and palworld was a pokemon mod getting taken down. Aside from that i love how Nintendo pretty much said "look we know this game exists, we know......stop telling us about it." Not that i expect big N to get rattled by this at all
so i consulted google, and found this article
https://www.lifewire.com/nintendo-system-update-failed-1126051
TIL there is a key combination you can press should the update fail.
i can only really see people who cheat in multiplayer benefiting the most from this. Fine by me though, i stopped playing GTA Online when they made that stupid rocket motorcycle.
Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
