    Many games are like this though. How did so many get corrupted? The smaller games seem to work fine. It's the bigger file games that are causing the error.

    Yeah, that's the page I was on. Seems like it can be many things. I took out the SD card to see if it was dirty or anything. I wonder if there is one or 2 things that it can most likely be so I can focus of those. I don't have the time or patience to go through every one of these.

    This is on my nephews 3DS. I checked it out and this is the error he is getting. I used Mario Kart 7 as an example but it's the same with a lot of the games. Not all of them do this though and play fine. What can the problem be and can you help me fix it?

    That didn't work so another user that I have been pmming told me to hold down abxy and that will delete all saved data and that worked. I am officially done trying to get the save back and thanks again for everyone in this thread that helped or at least tried to.

    Okay I believe if I delete through FBI, I can choose what to delete(do I delete just the title or title and ticket?) but if I go to the 3DS settings and delete software, it will delete everything. I will try to just delete the game and then reinstall it and report back.

    By deleting those files, checkpoint no longer shows SSB. The game has to be open at least once for checkpoint to see it so I can't even attempt to backup anything. When I load the game, I get the same message as always: The save data is corrupted and will be overwritten. I can't delete those...
