    in the diagrams,appear one component solder directly to cpu, i think that was the mosfet. if i use a flex cable (v2), don´t need that right? 1677088308 but if i use kapton tape, don´t eliminate the risk of shorting?

    Yes, but how I boot Ubuntu?! It's only possible boot Ubuntu or work another Linux distros?!

    I understand your point, but I'm not saying replace all ofw, only the essencial to boot something like hetake or others, maybe an emunand.

    So, if it's possible change the emmc, why anyone think in change the firmware in emmc and that way not necessary a mod chip?! That is just one thought.

    From my understanding, you use this things to "clone" your emmc and replace by one more bigger. Is that right?!

    Someone have this schema but for switch V2 ( marico)? The MOSFETs you are talking is that components with "450"?!

    Yes, but is I go with hwfly, I only need to solder the flex. Not to complicated as pico.
