    The easiest way is the Wii linux installer. But that method requires a keyboard. I'm running Bliight (Gentoo) on my Wii.

    Run MPlayer-CE on your homebrew capable Wii. Check the hacking section on how to make your Wii able to run Homebrew. (Twilight Hack, Homebrew Channel etc.)

    I have 2 nunchuks and for me that's enough. For Mario Kart Wii I'd recommend gamecube controllers or Wiimotes + Nunchuks, but that's a rare exception.
