    I had the similar problem with R4. I used a Kingston sd card with R4. 4 out 5 times while I do the DS profile trick, the game would not be recognized. Then I switched a Sandisk 2G card, the game show up every time I boot DS and do the DS profile trick. Try to use a better SD card.

    I believe this card is not based on any exploit. The signature check of 3DS is not hacked here. Only official software from retail game can run because they have the right signature. Somehow they reverse-engineered the encrytion scheme of 3DS rom and was abled to emulate the encryption/decrytion...

    How can decap help extracting the boot code? Boot code is stored in a piece of ROM inside the System-On-Chip, can the boot code be extracted by analyzing the image of that ROM?

    I hope an exploit will be found eventually. So all the apps can be loaded from SD card, just like what happened to PSP. No more flashcart. To find the exploit, maybe DSi would be a better target, DSi and 3DS must share a lot of security measures.
