    @Soulsnatcher, it might not be in that position (to the right of the stick) as the washer can rotate freely. @Awssk8er, there will most likely be replacement parts on dealextreme and other similar sites pretty soon, and Nintendo will probably do repairs.

    Due to the size of the thing I can't take a picture (at least not with a autofocus camera) but here's a picture from paint, with the white being the stick, the grey being the disk, the black line being the gap/crack, and the blue being the 3ds housing.

    I'm having a bit of trouble with isos off of a NTFS drive-the drive is recognized but no games are found. the filetree right now is drive>wbfs>games>R49J and drive>wbfs>games>R49 which are both two gameID codes i switched out for the filename, which i also tried without successes.     So, i just replaced my DS's case, and everything is working alright so far, with one exception. i, for the life of me, can not bloddy figure out how the left hinge attaches from the bottom to lower portion. it just sort of flops around... halp?
