New trailer for 'Resident Evil Village Gold Edition' released

I think the physical releases are out in late October. 28th is the UK date so I'm guessing it's the same (or similar) everywhere else too.

Hacking New release of Decrypt9 that is compatible with B9S is not working.

I'm running Luma 8.0 (i.e. the latest release but not the latest commit), boot9strap v1.2 and just grabbed the latest version of Decrypt9 because I read your post and realised that the earlier version I currently had no longer worked (it produced a memory dump when trying to run it). I dumped...

Hardware Get your wallets ready, a UK retailer will Soon™ be selling the Switch for £198.50 (€233 /$247)!

Just a warning for anyone thinking about buying from Gameseek: Their customer service is near non-existent if something goes wrong. Seriously, it's crap. I pretty much pay for everything on my credit card and in all the [many!] years of doing so I've never ever had to phone my credit card...

Hacking BGM horribly distorted after Softmod

I don't have a New 3DS but I'm guessing you've got overclocking on and need to switch it off. From plailect's guide... “New 3DS CPU” to “Clock+L2(x)” This will increase the framerate of many games, but may cause instability in others If some games do not work properly, disable this option and...

Hacking Can't get usb loader gx to see games on hd

I can't remember if they *need* to be but I've just checked my drive and all my games are in separate folders for each game - e.g. X:\wbfs\A Boy and His Blob [SBLP5G]\SBLP5G.wbfs Are yours just loose in the wbfs folder?

Just in case it's relevant, there are at least 3 versions of the US cart. If you look on the rear there should be the game serial followed by six digits - the third digit should indicate the revision number. i.e. AXCExxyxxx where y = revision number (either 0, 1 or 2)

If it's just the one cart you're having problems with, have you tried cleaning the contacts on the rear? I had a similar problem with a couple of DS carts when using Wood Dumper - they'd work fine but when you tried to dump them the card ID would come up as garbage. They didn't look particularly...

Homebrew Official [Download] Decrypt9 - Open Source Decryption Tools (WIP)

Yeah, I know the Pokemon ones can be a bit of a pain. I've got one which was Card2 which doesn't match the scene release and also a Card1 which doesn't match either. One of them was dumped from a brand new/never been used cart so it ought to have been "perfect" but unfortunately they were my...

Homebrew Official [Download] Decrypt9 - Open Source Decryption Tools (WIP)

To be honest, I could probably just use trimmed going ahead but I guess I got into the habit of dumping via Gateway and then the older version of Uncart and there's also the "it doesn't hurt to go full belt and braces" attitude I have with doing backups of any kind of data. I've dumped a load of...

Homebrew Official [Download] Decrypt9 - Open Source Decryption Tools (WIP)

Why do I need padded ROMs? A fair question but it's purely to compare with existing dumps to ensure that they're "good" dumps. The "scene" etc doesn't do trimmed.

Homebrew Official [Download] Decrypt9 - Open Source Decryption Tools (WIP)

Not sure if it's a "bug" as such but I just re-dumped a 4GB cart (using "full" rather than "trimmed") to test it against my Gateway and Uncart dumps and got a different checksum. On checking it in HxD it was clear why: the dump via Decrypt9WIP was 512 bytes shorter. The data up to that point...

    Getting a SNES Game/Cart on a PC?

Assuming you're not just seeing how long you can keep posting for before someone realises that you're trolling, what I don't understand is that if you're so bothered by the legality of copying the ROM in the first place, why did you hack your Wii? You are aware that Nintendo now know you've done...

ROM Hack [Release] CDN-FX - The ultimate eShop Content Downloader!

Ah, that's a shame. CDN-FX is great but obviously there are more and more gaps in the titles list as the community.xml file gets more and more out of date. I've added some in manually to mine but it'd be fantastic if there was some way of automating it. I may try taking another title list from...

Sorry if I've missed a post anywhere but is there any news on this?
