Rhlp replied to the thread Homebrew 3DS Devkitpro infrared - minimal functioning program.well https://wiki.ds-homebrew.com/ds-index/rtcom rtcom allows you to use 3ds features in ds mode, and the ir sensor is a 3ds feature, so if you take the ir calls and redirect them to the 3ds's stuff, it should work!

Im Rose! i like to walk, and i like to have a good reason to walk. so the personal trainer walking thingy has been a pretty good help! i lost my old copy tho, and i cant figure out how to make step counting work...

This is something I’ve thought about for a long time, but what’s with the surround output setting located in the System Settings app? Obviously, it doesn’t provide true surround sound as the 3DS doesn’t have any outputs capable pushing out that... -
