PS1/2 Emulator WiiStation - Another Fork of WiiSXRX released

SOTN definitely works. Have played through the NTSC-U version from the archive with QHack v1.3 (fills 4:3 screen). Could be a settings issue.

BOTW - Wii U Console Performance Patch

Somehow I figure there's probably a Kaze Emanuar type person who can work magic optimizing Wii U software. It only took a few decades for someone able to do it with the N64.

    Upgrading from wiikey v1

Probably the Japanese version, with Region Free enabled in setup Menu. Will need the Config disc to set that.... though it may be enabled by default.

    a prototype game thing #wii #homebrew

High speed is great if the controls/tracks are sufficiently dialed-in. Expect sharp twists and turns wouldn't be much fun... though perhaps in later stages as difficulty ramps up. Otherwise, I'd imagine most will crash and find it frustrating.

    Young Republican's Racist Texts Leak

And, yeah, I do actually care that Republicans, and similar minded conservatives globally, are often racist, homophobic, transphobic, fascists. For most on the right, that is a core feature, not a bug, which is why they don't defend it. Exclusion is a fundamental part of their hierarchical...

    Young Republican's Racist Texts Leak

I consider Foxi4 to be an Ayn Rand rightwing apologetics AI Chatbot and don't interact with it. It has a far greater capacity to produce sophistry than any of us have the ability to refute, meaning our time is probably best spent elsewhere. It will manipulate and reframe issues so fast that...

What to look for in a CRT monitor?

CRTs are a serious rabbit hole. However, if the goal is to watch old 4:3 content and maybe play some old 240p games, then a good quality consumer CRT makes the most sense, as that is what they were made for. I'd suggest looking for 90s-2000s Trinitons or other better consumer sets with...

Gaming Hardware Which TV is the for the Nintendo Wii best?

My first experience with the Super Nintendo was seeing it on a flat screen CRT at a store. I recall it looking excellent at the time. From what I gather, classic arcade games didn't use flat CRTs because the technology to make flat CRTs hadn't been invented yet. Overall, I prefer a flat CRT...

    Homebrew ROM Hack Defeating Devolution

Been a couple years since I did this, but think it may have taken a couple of minutes, but it will depend on the speed of the CPU.

PS1/2 Emulator WiiStation - Another Fork of WiiSXRX released

If it is possible to have rumble without analog support, I'm definitely in favor of enabling it. Hopefully the devs will do so. My first console was a SNES, followed by an N64, then GameCube, Wii, and Wii U. I never had anything from Sony or Microsoft, so it has been fun revisiting old PS1...

PS1/2 Emulator WiiStation - Another Fork of WiiSXRX released

Wiistation rumble works on my Wii U Pro controller if I enable analog in the controller settings. It won't work in digital mode.

PS1/2 Emulator WiiStation - Another Fork of WiiSXRX released

Tried using the new build with OpenGX on my Wii/CRT, but 240p isn't working. Guessing the devs are aware of this. Otherwise, WiiStation seems to have fewer frame drops. Looking forward to the next official release.

Far Right Presidential Candidate Wins in Argentina

Far Right Presidential Candidate Wins in Argentina

Again, myopic. Hospitals, healthcare, etc... are finite, shared, public, resources. During the pandemic, wards were overflowing with unvaccinated COVID-19 patients, causing cancellation and delays to critical medical procedures required by others. Due to the overload, many of these...

Far Right Presidential Candidate Wins in Argentina

But people are not islands, forever isolated from anything or anyone else. Our actions impact others, and selfishly imperil others during pandemics, nullifying THEIR liberties. Rather, we are all part of an interdependent whole, dependent not only upon each other, but our entire ecosystem...
