    haha man i recall when picking the downgrade i was between 4.x and 5.x and i was like meh it's probably the same both are very old, that choice that i took in seconds had massive consequences, life lesson. I will look with my friends for a cartridge that can update me to an ideal firmware, but...

    :ninja::ninja: that's a negative mate, i messed up big time, if there's no more options i can try besides hardware solutions like cartridge update or gateway it's fine man, at least i have lots of DS games that i still haven't played :yaynds: thanks for your help tho, i appreciate it:grog:

    hey @samiam144, thanks for the amazing guide, i hope you or anyone can give me a hand as i'm a bit frustrated here. I have the 5.0.0-20U firmware right now, i downgraded from the 9.2 firmware in order to make workable an r4i gold DS cart that i got from a friend so i could play some DS games...

    sorry for this question (i didn't read the entire sky3ds thread) but was it sometime clarified if the sky3ds 10 games limit was due to technical issues or just plain greediness ?
