    Hacking Stop Wii updating

Any way of skipping the disc update check without using Starfall?.. I have a Japanese Wii with 3.2J(WiiKey) but Starfall doesn't support JP Wii.

FF is excellent.. halfway through my second play-through.

Gaming NDS, Wii & WiiWare Titles Expected Week of 12th May 2008

FF is excellent and very good value/lot of content for even just the main game.. I'm also not a fan of paid downloadable content, but in this case it works very well in allowing you to extend the game/add extra features when replaying, and I did download some extra stuff when starting over after...

Wii #0525 - Family Ski (Japan)

Turn it on when you start the game and it should be recognised automatically.

Gaming Would you buy the new system?

Same here - right side of the touch screen on my Lite doesn't calibrate correctly. I bought it in April 2006 just after Japanese launch (March 06).. still have my original Japanese DS as well, bought January 2005 (it was released just before that in both US & Japan in December 2004 I think).

    Gaming WiiFit IOS vesion?

No it's not possible - the board needs to be turned on/connected or you won't even get to the title screen.

    Gaming WiiWare

I've heard that Nintendo are making some kind of proprietary USB add-on that you will be able to play VC/WiiWare titles from. btw, the FF additional content is only 1-2 blocks each - I think most of the stuff is in the initial download, and the downloads just unlock it for use within the game...

DS #XXXX: Level 5 Premium Gold (Japan)

The full Akuma no Hako game has the contents of the Silver demo (Inazuma Evelen Taikenban 2.0 and Layton Kyouju to London no Kyuujitsu, which it seems are also on this Gold edition) included - you get the option to try them or start the proper game when you start up. Perhaps they will do the...

Wii #XXXX - Minna no Joushiki Ryoku TV (Japan)

You can see some example questions here.. the ones shown seem pretty basic. It has online features where you can download questions about current affairs test and compare your results/level of general knowledge with other people - that sounds pretty good, but something which would have been fine...

Wii #XXXX - Minna no Joushiki Ryoku TV (Japan)

Yeah, this is a common sense/general knowledge quiz game. The TV guide thing is a new channel available from the Wii Shopping Channel, called Terebi no Tomo Channel - G Guide for Wii (テレビの友チャンネルGガイド) - free but takes up 101 blocks, and it's useless outside of Japan.

DS #2049: Dekiru Otoko no Mote Life : Yoru no Mote Jissen Hen (Japan)

More of a "how to be a player" training game than puzzler it seems.. demo here - http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/games...e/splecial.html

DS #1187: Otona no Onnaryoku Kentei (Japan)

Was I too subtle?! Anyway, living in Japan since last year I've come to clearly realize that is pretty much the state of the society when it comes to gender roles, and the women here are not even too bothered about changing the situation - they just tend to go with what is established and...

DS #1187: Otona no Onnaryoku Kentei (Japan)

Not at all.. Japanese women need to know their place in society (about 2 steps behind the men!) - they could do with bringing out a Western version
