    Nope, i have had a DS lite since it launched, and I play a lot of stylus heavy games. I don't have a single scratch or defect with the touch screen. I press fairly hard too.

    I bought 2 1 GB Toshiba MicroSD from http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?InvtId=SD-C01GR2W&cpc=RECOM They run Castlevania POR and every game that I have tried perfectly. They both say Made in Japan SD-C01G.

    Ok so far after a few hours of testing I think the card works great. The only problem I seem to be having is with Bionice Heroes. The touch screen controls are a bit weird and sometimes unresponsive.

    I think their is a greater proportion of bad games for the DS than other consoles that are out now. This is probably because it is more kid friendly, so you get a hell of a lot more lame games released for it. I love the DS, I am just pointing out how many mediocre to awful games get released...
